Christmas Stocking from Wendy's Quilts and More

Do you like the Christmas Stocking I made?

A few months ago a family member asked if I would make a Christmas stocking for her baby. It's baby's first Christmas so of course she needed a stocking.

I spotted this very cute fabric by Mia Charro for Free Spirit Fabrics so I bought it and proceeded to quilt it with my walking foot. Then I cut out the stocking shapes and bound it using my Patterns byAnnie instructions. I do like the red striped binding - it finishes it off perfectly.

Avery's Christmas Stocking from Mama Spark's World

I brought everything to make a Christmas stocking for Avery that matched the ones I made for his mom and dad. It is a pattern by Fiber Works, but not the fox. I wanted his stocking to have a fox on it. His red hair always make me think of foxes. So I did what I always do and took to the internet. The Stockings Are Hung . . . . from Quilting through Rose-colored Trifocals!

. . . . not by this fireplace -- I just wanted to make sure they hung properly before I delivered them to the triplets yesterday! This has been my "make" for the past week (along with a couple pairs of tiny little socks).
